Razom Advocacy, a Razom program, is dedicated to advancing U.S. legislation and policy for Ukrainian victory and to nurturing community engagement across the United States.
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
The Program Coordinator will play a critical role in advancing Razom’s mission by supporting existing and cultivating future leaders for Ukraine. The Coordinator will manage small grant and stipend awards, engage with Razom program alumni (past stipend and award recipients), and build partnerships with libraries and reading communities to expand the reach of Ukrainian literature.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Support:
• Provide general operational and administrative support to the Connect Program.
• Contribute to creating social media content related to Connect and managing social media channels for the Ukraine on Campus program.
• Collaborate and coordinate regularly with other Razom teams and project leaders to ensure strategic alignment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Awards & Alumni Management:
• Manage the full lifecycle of Connect’s small grant and stipend awards, from administration to reporting in coordination with the Finance team and other teams as relevant.
• Serve as the main point of contact for award and stipend recipients, ensuring clear communication and productive relationships.
• Develop and implement a strategic plan for alumni (past stipend and award recipient) outreach and engagement.
• Create and maintain a robust alumni contacts database.
• Coordinate and organize virtual and in-person alumni events, including receptions, conferences, and workshops.
• Capture alumni impact stories through direct contact and media monitoring for reporting.
• Integrate alumni into Razom’s ongoing efforts by publicizing and recruiting for volunteer, advocacy, and employment opportunities.
Community Outreach & Partnership:
• Coordinate community engagement activities and events across the Connect program, liaising with Razom’s events manager as relevant.
• Identify and build relationships with libraries, book clubs, and literary groups to promote Ukrainian literature.
• Coordinate author talks, readings, and discussions for interested groups.
• Facilitate the distribution of promotional materials and resources to encourage the inclusion of Ukrainian books in library collections.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions and literary organizations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, education, social sciences, international relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in programming, international relations, or a related field.
• Experience working in a bilingual setting is preferred.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships.
• Proficiency in data management and experience capturing institutional knowledge.
• Demonstrated initiative and innovative thinking, particularly in using social media and web platforms for engagement.
• A strong interest in championing Ukraine and promoting Ukrainian studies and programming.
• Ability to motivate and inspire program alumni to collaborate on projects.
• Fluency in Ukrainian is preferred.

$60,000-$73,000
Final salary based on experience, qualifications, and scope of work.
