Vira + Friends presents an All Ages Family Concert featuring pianist Ana Glig and contralto Vira Slywotzky. From Mozart to This Little Light of Mine, shine with us in an interactive concert of classical and popular music.
Ana Glig is an award-wining Georgian American pianist praised for her “virtuosic command of works” and “ability to capture hearts.” Glig enjoys her career as an active solo and chamber musician as well as collaborative pianist. After completing her studies in New York City Glig relocated to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where she works as an artist faculty of Cape Symphony as well as music director of Chatham First United Methodist Church. Her recent concert engagements include solo appearances with Cape Symphony and Cape Cod Chamber Orchestras.
Vira Slywotzky has performed principal roles with major American opera companies including Seattle Opera, Chautauqua Opera, Chelsea Opera, Center for Contemporary Opera and Sarasota Opera. She has sung concerts, recitals and cabarets in New York City venues from The Duplex to Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall and on tour all over the United States. Internationally Slywotzky has been heard in Canada, France, Hungary, Sweden and Wales.
