Project Manager for the Razom Future project, Relief

Since its beginning, Razom has united Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine in the United States and around the world to support the country’s democratic development, human rights, and resilience.

 

Today, Razom implements humanitarian, educational, and advocacy programs that save lives, strengthen local community capacity, and build global support for Ukraine. The organization works closely with partners in both the U.S. and Ukraine, ensuring transparent and effective assistance where it is needed most.

Razom is seeking a Project Manager for the Razom Future project – a professional who will lead the development, implementation, and growth of educational, youth, and leadership initiatives within the Future portfolio. This role combines strategic planning, grant and project management, partnership development, and operational leadership to strengthen opportunities for Ukrainian youth and enhance long-term impact.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• develop and implement the operational plan for the Future direction in alignment with Razom’s overall strategy

• manage, expand, and supervise the portfolio of projects and grants within the Future program

• set, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the assigned area

• engage potential partners and support them in developing high-quality grant applications

• initiate and design Razom-led projects in the fields of youth development, education, leadership, and skills building

• process grants from application to approval and close-out in line with Razom Relief procedures

• support grantees and internal project teams in effective program delivery

• conduct monitoring visits, evaluate implementation quality, and ensure compliance with standards

• prepare regular reports, updates, and analytical documentation for internal teams and stakeholders

• coordinate communications and visibility activities related to the Future program

• build and maintain a strong network of partners including NGOs, educational institutions, youth organizations, and relevant governmental actors

• represent Razom at sector events, conferences, and strategic meetings

• monitor trends in youth development, STEM education, leadership programs, and related fields

• improve, document, and standardize workflows and internal processes

• collaborate closely with other Razom Relief teams on joint initiatives and cross-program activities

• supervise and mentor Project Assistants, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of tasks

• contribute to strategic planning, capacity building, and continuous improvement of the Future direction

 

Our Expectations:

• bachelor’s or master’s degree

• 6+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in project or grant management within NGOs

• at least 2 years of experience in youth, education, leadership development, or related fields

• experience with the full project cycle; supervisory experience is an advantage

• strong analytical and communication skills; ability to evaluate complex applications

• understanding of the NGO landscape and key stakeholders in Ukraine

• proactive, structured, and solutions-oriented work style

• fluency in Ukrainian; intermediate English
