OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Razom is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented associate to join our non-profit organization. This opportunity is designed to provide valuable hands-on experience in the non-profit sector. This person will be primarily responsible for entering, managing, analyzing, and researching data related to our donor base, fundraising campaigns, and overall operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid analytical and research skills, an understanding of data management systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a positive impact in the community and the world, possesses strong organizational and communication skills, and is eager to learn and grow in a non-profit environment. REPORTS TO
Advancement Data and Operations Manager. Works closely with the Donor Stewardship Manager and Finance team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Entry – 60%
• Primary Responsibility: Process and enter all incoming donation information into the donor database (e.g., Humanitru) ensuring timely entry and accuracy for all donations and donor information.
• Maintain and manage the donor database , ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of donor records.
• Read, interpret, and abstract key information from emails and documents, ensuring that essential details are captured and accurately reflected in the CRM database.
Data Management & Integrity – 20%
• Perform data quality assessments and regular data cleansing activities including merging duplicate contacts, researching donor information, standardizing data, and ensuring that the necessary data fields are populated according to organization standards.
• Identify and resolve data-related issues and discrepancies.
• Work with Data Manager to Support CFO in reconciliation of donor and financial records.
• Work closely with Data Manager to develop data intake and tracking processes, determining the best methods for collecting data
• Manage “one time” or special initiative data engineering projects.
• Optimize and maintain data systems to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability, particularly with large datasets.
Data Analysis & Research – 20%
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making and help optimize fundraising and donor engagement efforts
• Support the creation of donor segmentation strategies and targeted outreach efforts based on data-driven insights.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of data-driven reports, dashboards, and visualizations
• Research and analyze new institutional funding prospects and individual donor opportunities.
• Maintain and update detailed records on institutional funders, prospects, and major donors.
• Support leadership in donor stewardship efforts by preparing background briefings, reminders, and follow-ups for donor interactions.
Assist with any other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support the smooth functioning of the donor database and Advancement Team.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Preferred but not required: Experience with data entry and processing, preferably in a non-profit environment
• Preferred but not required: Experience working with database systems

SALARY RANGE
$55,000-$65,000 annually. This role is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay.
