About the webinar
Join Razom Cinema Impact Producer, Polina Buchak, in conversation with documentary filmmaker Kateryna Gornostai and Razom Relief Director Anna Solovei. Together, they’ll explore the film Timestamp, the latest Razom Cinema grantee, and discuss how children in Ukraine continue to learn, grow, and find resilience amid the constant threat of bombs and air raids.
The film by award-winning director Kateryna Gornostai (Stop-Zemlia), without narration or interviews, closely documents a year in the lives of students and teachers across Ukraine as they face the challenges of schooling during wartime, all while endeavoring to maintain a sense of normality and consistency.
With insights from Razom’s own work with NGO partners addressing the current needs of Ukrainian youth, Anna Solovei brings added context to the realities of wartime and the impact that it has on learning, social skills and mental health, as well as stories of Ukrainian civil society organizations responding to these challenges.
Tune in for an engaging talk about the realities facing Ukraine’s next generation, their stories, perseverance, and the refusal of a society to give up.
