Volonterska UA is a large volunteer hub assisting residents of the Kharkiv region since February 24, 2022. The organization procures and delivers humanitarian aid to the elderly (65+), people with disabilities, and large families.
Volonterska UA became an official Razom Partner in April 2022. Since then, Razom has provided them with multiple monetary grants to continue helping tens of thousands of people who need food, medicines, and hygiene supplies. Volonterska UA has a hotline, and volunteers work tirelessly to assist people in the most hazardous parts of the city and liberated territories of the region.
We used to be ordinary Ukrainians – entrepreneurs, managers, lawyers, and producers. The full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine changed it for good. Since that very day, we, like thousands of Ukrainians throughout the country, have transformed into different people who put aside their daily routines, business ideas, professions, and schedules. We started looking for ways to help those in need.
Our initially shambolic relief assistance to everyone around eventually refined to become an aid to the most vulnerable ones, who are unable to help themselves, who have nobody to seek help from. Most are lonely older people, people with disabilities, and residents who are left destitute. Oftentimes these people don’t have access to the Internet, so we have established a hotline. We are working to ensure everyone is attended to and gets the aid timely.
By virtue of support from Razom for Ukraine, we provide social and health care aid to people suffering from the war. Day-to-day, we expand the scope of our actions depending on the needs and our ever-increasing capabilities.
