RADIO AND ENERGY

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Radio and Energy provides Defenders with critical communications and power equipment on a request basis. Financial limitations means such equipment comes secondary to more immediate needs like body armor or munitions. Working with the General Staff and unit commanders, Radio and Energy works to address this gap by supplying unit-specific aid to identified points of elevated need.

Razom Heroes maintains close partnerships with equipment manufacturers, resulting in faster procurement times and better quality assurance for products delivered. Orders are tracked and verified throughout the entire procurement and distribution process, ensuring all equipment is properly and timely delivered.

Radio & Communications

Radio/Communications supplies Defenders with the latest in communications equipment, ensuring they have the proper tools necessary to complete their missions. The Heroes Program works directly with commanders, ensuring their unit-specific needs are accurately met.

Energy

Energy provides Defenders with modern power equipment, allowing their devices to remain operable across various combat conditions. Power supplies are provided according to unit needs, and adjusted to best fit with Defender feedback.

WHY WE WORK

A unit without autonomous charging stations turns into a stationary group with an efficiency of 10%, not 80%. Mobility for air defense is critical: we see the movement of air targets on the tablet and immediately move ourselves. In winter, the equipment does not last even for hours — tablets, thermal imagers, walkie-talkies, phones simply turn off in the cold. Therefore, constant power supply from charging stations is a vital necessity — we need quiet and high-quality energy everywhere.

Oleksandr, National Guard of Ukraine

We use charging stations for communication between different units, radio repeaters, mobile phones, tablets. When the station is discharged, it can be quickly recharged with an inverter generator. But if there is no possibility to charge, the station often has to be left, because there is no way to take it with them. When the guys leave positions, especially broken ones, they do not take any property with them — life is more important than any equipment.
