3-го листопада Разом організували розмову-дискусії на тему “Роль закордонних українців у встановленні незалежної успішної України”. Приміщення ласкаво надали керівники наукового товариства імені Т. Шевченка у Нью-Йорку. На подію прийшло багато цікавих людей, адже в першій частині розмови брав участь сам Святослав Вакарчук. Модерувала розмову з Святославом член ради директорів Разом та член НТШ Оля Яричківська. Нижче подаємо найцікавіші цитати Святослава.

The Co-Pilot Fundraiser With Slava Vakarchuk and Fima Chupakhin: Promise Kept

In March 2017 at the launch of the Razom for Ukraine Co-Pilot Project, Slava Vakarchuk promised to come back to New York and play a private concert to raise funds for the project. He invited Fima Chupakhin to join him to create and perform a mix of jazz standards and Океан Ельзи / Okean Elzy songs.  On Saturday (on November 4th, 2017) he kept his promise and performed to a sold out audience that raised over $33,500 to improve the quality of neurosurgical and spine surgery in Ukraine.

On May 16, 2017, Razom IT and The Hatchery co-sponsored a Ukrainian startup company pitch night called, “Are You Serious?” at the New York headquarters of the global law firm Dentons. A group of New York investors was on hand to critique the presentations of the five early-stage startups.

We held our 3rd Razom Annual Meeting

We held our 3rd annual meeting on Saturday, September 23, 2017. We were happy to see over 100 people attend the gathering at Civic Hall in Manhattan. Participants heard updates regarding finances and highlights of past and present projects.

$10 000 grant went to Support Hospitals in Ukraine

At the Annual Meeting 2017 Razom for Ukraine provided a third grant to the Support Hospitals in Ukraine project, which will finalize the delivery of the fourth container of medical equipment to Ukrainian hospitals in need. This last, third grant from Razom summed up to the total financial support of $23,000. We are proud to partner up with and support the project with such a noble mission – “Provide hospitals in Ukraine with the much-needed medical equipment and supplies”.

Charity Picnic for the Toy Drive

Last weekend, our Toy Drive team hosted a charity picnic in Central Park to celebrate Ukraine’s Independence. We couldn’t have asked for better weather and a better turnout! The day was action packed with fun activities, salo tasting, music, and great company. By the end of the day, we raised $2,000, which we will send to the Lviv Education Foundation in support of their program “Big Brother” (“Старший Брат”). “Big Brother” is a mentorship program for kids, whose fathers have been affected by the war in eastern Ukraine.
